There are two international airports with easy access to Campinas: Guarulhos International Airport (airport code GRU)  and the Viracopos International Airport (airport code CPQ).

How to get to UNICAMP from Guarulhos International Airport

    From the Guarulhos International Airport (near São Paulo city), located about 130 km from Campinas,  there is a Bus Service which takes you directly to Campinas downtown. This service is operated by a company called CAPRIOLI Turismo. The Ticket Agency of this service is on the sidewalk outside the Ground Floor (Arrival Floor) of Terminal 2, WING-C. The price of the ticket is R$ 24.00, Brazilian currency (or about US$ 8). You have to buy the ticket at the CAPRIOLI information desk.

Buses depart from WING-C to Campinas downtown.

Buses departure time from Guarulhos Airport to Campinas:
07:30 - 09:00 - 10:30 - 12:00 - 14:00 - 16:00 - 17:30 - 19:00 - 20:30 - 22:00 - 24:00

Buses departure time from Campinas to Guarulhos Airport:
04:30 - 06:00 - 07:00 - 08:30 - 10:30 - 12:30 - 14:30 - 16:30 - 17:30 - 18:30 - 20:00

Do not  leave the bus before the final stop, that is in CAPRIOLI AGENCY in  LARGO DO PARÁ. From there you can take a taxi (the price is around R$40.00).

    Viracopos Airport, in the city of Campinas is about 20 km from downtown. From there, you may take a taxi (R$ 60.00) or a van (R$ 25.00 per person) which will drop you off at the hotel. You may also arrange with the van service (Zefir Transportes: phone +55-19-3225-5904, +55-19-9790-2319; Fax +55-19-3725-6115) to pick you up at the hotel upon your return.
